Mobile Transfers

Transfers from a savings or money market account on this mobile device to another account of yours are unlimited. There are also no limits for in-person withdrawals in a branch or at an ATM.

If you have our Optional Overdraft Protection Service and a Mobile banking transaction is conducted and you have authorized us to pay those transactions, a fee of $35.00 per transaction may be assessed to your account.

  • ATM + Street or Zip = Nearest New Peoples Bank ATM Location : Text "ATM" + "street name" or "zip-code" to 99588 to locate closest Ex. ATM 24260

  • STOP = Text "Stop" to 99588 to Cancel alerts/notifications

  • It's easy to deposit checks. Enter the amount of the check deposit. Take a photo of the front and back. Review and submit.
  • It's secure. NPB Mobile uses several layers of security to protect your account and check data.
  • It's open 24/7. Day or night, you can check balances, transfer funds and now, make deposits.

Important Facts to Remember

  • Daily Deposit Limit: $2,500.00
  • Maximum Check Amount: $2,500.00
  • Your REQUIRED endorsement should include: "FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY-NEW PEOPLES BANK, INC." near your signature. Without this endorsement, your deposit will be REJECTED.
  • Checks are processed in the same time frame they would be if you took them to the bank. Mobile deposits received by 6:45 pm on a business processing day will be credited to your account by the next day.

Using Mobile Deposit

  1. Launch the NPB Mobile App on your smart phone or tablet.
  2. Verify your security image and pass phrase. If everything is correct, enter your password to log in.
  3. Select Deposits from the menu options.

Making a Deposit:

  1. Select New Deposit.
  2. Select the account where you want the funds deposited and enter the amount of the deposit. Select Continue
  3. Take a photo of the front of your check using the on-screen camera button. Ensure the check photo is clear and readable and contains all four corners of the check. Select Use Photo.
  4. Back of check must be properly endorsed. Near the endorsement, please write "FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY-NEW PEOPLES BANK, INC." and indicate the account number you want to deposit the check to.
  5. Repeat step 3 for back of the check.
  6. Verify the deposit details on the confirmation screen. If the deposit details are correct, confirm the deposit.
  7. The Result screen will let you know that we have received your deposit and its status. Our software will verify the deposit details and image quality. If a Deposit Failed status results, follow

  • Quickly view deposits by selecting All, Pending, Failed, or Accepted from the menu.
